In November, educational institutions in Odessa implemented a series of initiatives focused on supporting the mental health of participants in the educational process as part of the program "How are you?".
Specifically, students participated in: training sessions on topics such as "Maintaining Mental Health: Emotions as a Resource", "Mental Health: The Key to a Happy Life"; class hours on themes like "How are you?", "Emotions and Their Impact", "Everything is in Our Hands", "Rules of Friendship"; games like "World of Emotions", "First Aid Kit"; round tables on "Maintaining and Restoring Mental Health: Help and Self-Help", and interactive exercises like "Mood Diary" and "Support Circle".
Additionally, discussions were held for students who relocated from temporarily occupied territories, focusing on "My Mental Health", along with physical activity lessons, collective creative exercises, and training within the "How are you?" program.
Parents and educators also participated in the training "Safe Space". During discussions, the emotional state of children at the start of the academic year was addressed. Individual consultations and informational materials were provided on supporting children's mental health and adapting them to learning conditions.
To ensure access to information and useful mental health tips, materials from the program "How are you?" were published on educational institutions' websites, along with QR codes containing information and recommendations for parents and educators.
