Since the onset of the prolonged rain in Odesa, the special equipment of the Municipal Enterprise «City Roads» has been actively working to prevent possible flooding on the city streets.

Currently, traffic on the city roads is clear. Parts of 5th st. V. Fontan and Yarmarok Street are partially flooded. A total of 344 specialists and 46 units of equipment are working on the streets.

In the event of prolonged rains, such as today, special water pumping machines, including a high-pressure hydrodynamic unit based on a MAN truck, are traditionally stationed on the streets: Balkivska, Prymorska, Yevhen Chykalenko, Heavenly Hundred, French Boulevard, and Customs Square, where flooding usually occurs during heavy rainfall.

Employees of the Municipal Enterprise «City Roads» are also deployed on the streets, using excavators with special attachments or manually, to quickly clear storm drains and sewer wells from debris, branches, and leaves carried there by rainwater streams.
