The State Geology Service of Ukraine has introduced a new State Registry of Special Permits for Subsoil Use.

The Registry contains information about:

- the date, validity period, and reason for the issuance of the special permit for subsoil use,

- extension of the term and amendments made,

- type and purpose of subsoil use,

- information about the subsoil area,

- source of funding for the works planned by the subsoil user (public or private funds),

- special conditions, details about the owner and the approval for providing the permit,

- data on agreements regarding the terms of subsoil use or production sharing agreements, and more.

According to the State Geology Service, a special permit for subsoil use is issued in the form of an electronic extract from the Registry. The information contained in the extract is current and accurate as of the date of its formation.

The Registry operates around the clock, except during preventive or technical maintenance.

During the state of martial law, access to the resource is temporarily restricted, except for law enforcement agencies, government bodies, and local self-governments.

As stated by the head of the State Geology Service, Oleg Hotsynets, preparations are underway to implement state registries for artesian, oil, and gas wells.

Reminder:

Through the "Diia" app, you can submit an application to the Registry of Losses for compensation for emotional distress and suffering due to the disappearance of a close family member.

Ukrainians who have suffered due to Russian aggression since February 24, 2022, can now submit six additional categories of compensation claims through "Diia" to the international Registry of Losses.

The "Diia" app has also added an extract from the Registry of Damaged and Destroyed Property — regarding the fact of housing destruction or a submitted application for eRestoration.
