The recent analysis of water in 16 public wells in Odessa has confirmed its compliance with hygiene standards.

This information was reported by the Odessa City Council.

The studies were conducted by specialists from the State Institution «Odessa Regional Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine» under an agreement with the utility company «Service Center». Testing is performed on a monthly basis.

According to microbiological analyses as of March 31, 2025, the water in the wells meets the sanitary requirements of DSanPin 2.2.4-171-10. All research protocols are available for review directly at the wells.

It is noteworthy that approximately 45,000 residents of Odessa use water from these wells daily. The depth of the boreholes ranges from 111 to 149 meters, with an average consumption of 8–12 cubic meters of water per day in each facility.
