In the first quarter of 2025, the Ukrainian vehicle registry welcomed 12.8 thousand electric cars (BEV).

This has been reported by Ukravtoprom.

The highest registration numbers were noted in:

• Lviv region – 1961 units (94% used);
• Kyiv City – 1632 units (68% used);
• Kyiv region – 1120 units (76% used);
• Dnipropetrovsk region – 986 units (80% used);
• Odesa region – 761 units (76% used).

Among new cars, the most popular electric vehicle was the BYD Song Plus EV.

Regarding imported used vehicles:

• TESLA Model Y – in Kyiv and surrounding areas;
• TESLA Model 3 – in Lviv and Dnipropetrovsk regions;
• NISSAN Leaf – in Odesa region.

As a reminder:

• In January-March, Ukrainians purchased 12 thousand imported used passenger cars under 5 years of age.
