On April 17, 2025, a regional forum titled «Odessa: Innovative Solutions for Business and Education» took place in Odessa, gathering representatives from local authorities, business sectors, educational institutions, and international organizations.
The primary goal of the event was to discuss how to create an innovative ecosystem that supports human development, education, business, and effective governance in today’s context.
The participants were welcomed by Igor Koval, the Secretary of the Odessa City Council.
The forum highlighted that modern and practical education is essential for both youth and workers seeking to retrain.
Attendees emphasized the importance of short training programs, entrepreneurial skill development, dual education, and closer collaboration between businesses and educational institutions.
Sustainable development can only be achieved through ongoing dialogue and partnership between the business sector, educational establishments, and local government.
Such partnerships enable educational systems to adapt to economic needs, invest in human capital, retain and nurture talent, implement joint initiatives, and foster an effective ecosystem for growth.
