This was revealed by nature conservation expert, biologist Ivan Rusev.
He mentioned that meadow pipits typically inhabit broad muddy shores of limans and salt marshes, seeking comfortable nesting spots.
These birds are characterized by their smooth and graceful flight, showcasing speed and a variety of movements. Meadow pipits primarily forage for food while soaring in the sky.
In most European areas, the population of meadow pipits is significantly declining due to environmental changes, the biologist stated.
He added that meadow pipits, as a rare species, are protected under the Red Book of Ukraine, the Bonn and Bern Conventions, the AEWA Agreement, and the EU directives on the protection of wild birds.
