Safeguarding the Sacred Lands of Kuyalnik National Park

The management of «Kuyalnik National Park» has begun enforcing regulations against vehicles entering protected areas. A law has been enacted that prohibits the use of certain vehicles in nature reserves.

The park spans approximately 10,800 hectares, but only about 3,500 hectares are designated as protected zones, which are the most sensitive areas. Strict conservation measures apply here, while other parts of the park allow limited access.

Prohibited Vehicles in Protected Areas

  • Use of cars, ATVs, and motorcycles in restricted zones.
  • Hosting competitions and events that involve vehicle access to nature reserves.
  • Even test drives are regulated and must be approved by park administration.

Why Is This Important?

Vehicle access damages soil, destroys vegetation, and threatens wildlife, including endangered species.

Fines for Violations

  • 153 to 408 UAH for individuals;
  • 255 to 510 UAH for officials;

Environmental Damage Compensation:

  • motorcycle — 4020.80 UAH;
  • car — 6428.80 UAH;
  • truck — 8848.00 UAH.

Who Monitors Compliance?

The park's state protection service, environmental inspection, and police are responsible for monitoring compliance. Event organizers are tracked on social media, and initial attempts to negotiate adherence to the rules are made.

Kuyalnik Is Not a Race Track

Kuyalnik National Park is a vital natural area that requires protection. If we do not act now, we risk losing its unique ecosystems and natural resources.
