In Odesa, construction has commenced on a new pedestrian pathway known as «East - West». This is one of the largest such projects in Ukraine under the «Access for All» initiative. 

The route stretches from Kolyivskyi Street to the new administrative center on Kostandi Street, encompassing several vital social establishments. 
The project includes lowering curbs, installing ramps, laying tactile tiles, and updating surfaces in accordance with national construction standards. 

The work began symbolically on the first day of the Accessibility Week taking place in Ukraine. 

This project is being implemented through the initiative of the Accessibility Council with the support of Odesa's mayor, Hennadiy Trukhanov.
