Odesa is home to 16 public wells that provide drinking water to its residents.

The quality of the artesian water in these wells is monitored by the State Institution "Odesa Regional Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine".

According to an agreement with the Municipal Enterprise «Service Center», water quality is tested once a month.

As of June 12, 2025, microbiological studies indicate that the treated drinking water from the public wells meets the sanitary standards of DSANPIN 2.2.4-171-10.
