According to the State Environmental Inspection of the Southwestern District, in addition to millions in ecological damage, harmful emissions of CO2 reached 7128 tons!
Yesterday in Odesa, in the Peresyp district, a blaze ignited dry vegetation and shrubs. Due to weather conditions, the fire rapidly spread over a large area at three locations. To better manage resources, aerial reconnaissance was conducted using drones, as there was a risk of the fire spreading to private homes. Firefighters, together with units of the National Guard of Ukraine, local fire brigades, and municipal services, quickly contained the fire and prevented its spread.
The fire was extinguished over a total area of 10 hectares.
Fortunately, there were no casualties or injuries.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
