In Odesa, employees of the Municipal Enterprise «Odesmisksvitlo» have been working for the third day to restore the external lighting on the Health Trail, which was damaged by vandals.
The police have recorded thefts of automatic switches and damages to cable lines, which have disrupted internet connectivity and surveillance cameras.
The total damage to the enterprise amounts to over 50,000 UAH.
At the end of last year, a similar act of vandalism was reported on the Health Trail, where unknown individuals damaged the equipment of 10 poles, stealing automatic switches and cable covers.
The Odesa city council urges residents and visitors to treat the community property with care. If you witness an act of vandalism, please report it to the police at: 102.

Liability for damage to communal property under the Criminal Code of Ukraine
1. Intentional destruction or damage to someone else's property causing significant harm is punishable by a fine of up to fifty (850 UAH) non-taxable minimum incomes of citizens, or community service for a period of one hundred twenty to two hundred forty hours, or corrective labor for up to two years, or restriction of freedom for up to three years, or imprisonment for the same period.
Article 296. Hooliganism 1. Hooliganism, i.e., gross violation of public order motivated by clear disrespect for society, accompanied by particular audacity or exceptional cynicism, is punishable by a fine of five hundred (8500 UAH) to one thousand (17000 UAH) non-taxable minimum incomes of citizens, or arrest for up to six months, or restriction of freedom for up to five years. 2. The same actions committed by a group of persons are punishable by restriction of freedom for up to five years or imprisonment for up to four years.
