In Odessa, at 12 Kinna Street, the team from the social project «Thousand Doors of Odessa» has successfully restored the authentic oak doors of the historic Lamzaki building.

This building was constructed in 1912 based on the design by the renowned architect Alexander Goltsvurm. This is reported by the social project «Thousand Doors of Odessa».

What was restored

During the restoration process, specialists removed multiple layers of old paint from the doors, followed by treatment with special glazing and oil. They also restored lost elements such as heels, reveal strips, and the capital of the transom.

In addition to decorative restoration, the old glass was replaced, significantly enhancing the lighting in the entrance. The doors are now equipped with an automatic closer, and a modern electric rim lock ensures security.
