Due to the consequences of hostile attacks, all traction substations in Odesa are still without power, leading to the suspension of tram and trolleybus services. The Odesa City Council announced that to maintain connectivity during the blackout, transport operators have been instructed to increase the number of buses on city routes and arrange social services that cover the roles of electric transport. Social buses have been organized on the most crowded routes. For instance, buses are now operating from the railway station to 28th Brigade Street with a frequency of about 30-40 minutes. On the tram route 5, buses run from the railway station to Arcadia via French Boulevard with an approximate interval of one hour.

These social routes and the list of buses only partially offset the halt of electric transport, but they help maintain basic connectivity between key areas of the city.
