During the Christmas and New Year celebrations, various festive activities are traditionally held in the educational institutions of the city.

In preschool facilities, thematic sessions titled «Christmas Star at the Doorstep» allow children to immerse themselves in the spirit of Christmas, learn about the customs of Christmas Eve, and even recreate some of them.

Additionally, musical-literary entertainment and thematic classes about festive Ukrainian traditions are organized for the little ones. Preschoolers sing traditional Ukrainian carols with their teachers, participate in round dances, prepare for the holiday, and create Christmas stars and protective charms.

Moreover, exhibitions of drawings titled «Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!» were held in preschools.

At the Odesa children's home «Perlynka», «Ukrainian Evenings» took place. The boys and girls made dumplings and cooked kutya. Afterward, they all had a festive meal together and received sweet gifts. After lunch, the children enjoyed a performance entitled «In Search of Light».

The Odesa Palace of Children's and Youth Creativity «White Acacia» hosted a New Year performance titled «Dreams Come True». Over 200 students - young actors, singers, and dancers - showcased their talents, providing the audience with incredible emotions and positive impressions.

As part of the «Warm Wave» initiative, students prepared letters for defenders, which were sent along with treats to the hospital for wounded fighters and defenders on the front lines.
