Yesterday, a milestone music festival celebrating Odesa's culture took place in the heart of Austria.

This significant event brought together talented musicians, continuing the traditions that have become synonymous with Odesa.

Initiated 10 years ago by Igor Pokrovsky, the festival has become a vital part of Odesa's cultural landscape. It honors the legacy of the remarkable educator, Pyotr Stolyarsky, who nurtured numerous gifted musicians.

“This concert in Vienna is our expression of gratitude for the support of Odesa and Ukraine during these challenging times. We are thankful to Austria for its solidarity, and it is a great honor for us to showcase Odesa's culture at such a high level. Odesa has always been the cultural capital of Ukraine, and we are committed to preserving its unique creative heritage for future generations,” said Odesa's Mayor, Gennadiy Trukhanov, during the festival's opening.

The festival continues to strengthen cultural ties between Odesa and Vienna, presenting new musical talents to the world and showcasing the rich cultural heritage of the Ukrainian city.
