Engagement in sports plays a crucial role for law enforcement officers, enhancing their ability to respond swiftly in emergencies, improving focus, endurance, and psychological resilience. To maintain their fitness levels and promote an active lifestyle, police officers regularly participate in sports events and marathons.
Recently, the teams from the National Police of Ukraine in Odesa competed in an athletics championship. The special police battalion secured first place in the team standings and achieved five individual awards. They excelled in the 100m and 1000m sprints, as well as in long jump events over 3 and 5 km distances.
Additionally, the special forces participated in a marathon under the Presidential program “Active Parks – Locations of a Healthy Ukraine.” The officers successfully completed 5 and 10 km distances, showcasing excellent physical training and team spirit.
