The city of Mukachevo in the Transcarpathian region recently hosted the Ukrainian Boccia Championship for athletes with mobility impairments, featuring 66 competitors from 13 regions of Ukraine.

Representing Odesa were Ivanna Shvets and Ivan Myslyay, both of whom are trained at the Odesa Regional Center for Physical Culture and Sports for Persons with Disabilities «Invasport».

The senior coach of the national Ukrainian boccia team, Natalia Yushkina, prepared the athletes.

Competition results:

  • Ivanna Shvets won first place and was crowned the Ukrainian Boccia Champion.
  • Ivan Myslyay continues to gain competitive experience and placed sixth in this tournament.

The achievements of our athletes greatly contribute to the development of inclusive sports in the region and the country. Every step towards victory proves that sports are accessible to all and should become even more open and supported!
