From March 24 to 28, Chernivtsi hosted the best young linguists and language scholars of Ukraine. The IV stage of the All-Ukrainian Olympiad in Ukrainian language and literature for students in grades 8-11 was held here.
In this challenging intellectual competition, 136 participants from 24 regions of Ukraine took part, with Anastasia Didyk, an 11th-grade student of Odesa Lyceum No. 38 (teacher Maksutina Olena), winning the Olympiad.
Anastasia demonstrated not only profound knowledge in her subjects but also creative thinking, analytical skills, and a deep love for the Ukrainian language.
From March 31 to April 4, Chernivtsi hosted the IV stage of the All-Ukrainian Student Olympiad in Geography. Approximately 150 participants from all regions of Ukraine took part, competing in two rounds: theoretical and practical.
The winners included:
- Kateryna Sulima, a 9th-grade student of Odesa Lyceum No. 117 (teacher Shulevskyi Serhii);
- Artem Pastoshchuk, an 11th-grade student of Odesa Lyceum No. 9 (teacher Yastremska Svitlana).
Ksenia Huivan, a 10th-grade student of Odesa Lyceum "Mariinsky," received a participant diploma and invaluable experience for future success.
Artem Pastoshchuk also received a special award for the best presentation on the topic "The Phenomenon of the Urban Heat Island."
Additionally, winners of the IV stage of the All-Ukrainian Student Olympiad in Biology were announced, where over 170 students from grades 8-11 from all regions of Ukraine and Kyiv participated. The closing ceremony took place in Lviv region.
Anna Vidova, an 8th-grade student of Odesa Lyceum No. 117 (teacher Ihnatyieva Liudmyla), was awarded a second-degree diploma.
