From April 9 to 13, the IV stage of the National Olympiad in History was held in Lutsk, gathering over 140 talented students from all regions of Ukraine.
The event was officially opened at the Museum of Contemporary Ukrainian Art of the Korsaks.
The competition consisted of two rounds: theoretical and practical.
According to the results of the Olympiad, Artem Pastoshchuk, an 11th-grade student from Odesa Lyceum No. 9 (history teacher - Alina Sydorenko), emerged as the absolute winner.
Artem's journey to victory spanned 4 years. In 2022, he won first place at the regional stage of the history Olympiad but was unable to attend a training camp due to the ongoing war.
A week prior, Artem participated in the IV stage of the Geography Olympiad, where he earned a II degree diploma.
Throughout 2023 and 2024, Artem was involved in various subject Olympiads and intellectual competitions, achieving a record number of prize-winning places at different levels.
Additionally, Artem Pastoshchuk is a Presidential scholarship recipient and also receives a scholarship from the Mayor of Odesa.
