A tragedy unfolded in Odessa as a missile strike damaged the apartment of Vladislava Kocherba, the Ukrainian synchronized swimming champion.

This was reported by the federation's press service.

The missile hit near a high-rise building, causing destruction and fire. Additionally, the athlete's parents were injured while they were at home at the time.

The shockwave threw people against the wall. Thanks to the quick actions of neighbors, the parents were successfully rescued from the rubble.
