Today, another stage of the prisoner exchange was completed in accordance with the agreements reached in Istanbul. By order of the President of Ukraine, the Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War returned a group of servicemen categorized as 'severely wounded and seriously ill' to Ukraine.

The returned include servicemen from the Armed Forces of Ukraine, including Airborne Troops, Navy, Air Force, Territorial Defense Forces, State Border Service, and the National Guard of Ukraine.

Among those released are defenders from Mariupol who had been in captivity for over three years. All released individuals are men, representing the ranks of privates and sergeants.

Some of these soldiers were previously considered missing in action.

In total, the returning Ukrainians fought in the Donetsk, Kherson, Kharkiv, Zaporizhia, and Luhansk directions.

The released defenders will undergo necessary medical examinations, receive assistance for physical and psychological rehabilitation, and all due payments for their time in captivity.

Today's exchange is part of a larger exchange involving servicemen under the age of 25, as well as severely wounded and seriously ill individuals.

The Coordination Headquarters continues its work, and the next stage of releasing Ukrainian defenders will be conducted soon.

We are working on bringing everyone back!

Glory to Ukraine!
