A new initiative called "Coffee for Our Heroes" has begun in Odessa.
This project, launched by the city’s Department of Education and Science, has quickly gained popularity and become a tradition in the community.
At school fairs, you can enjoy delicious treats made with love by our students, their parents, and teachers.
Every cup of coffee purchased is not just a delightful drink, but also a contribution to our collective victory.
"This event has once again united us around a common goal – to support our defenders. All funds raised will be donated to the Armed Forces, ensuring our soldiers feel our support", said the Mayor of Odessa, Hennadiy Trukhanov.
The Director of the Department of Education and Science, Olena Buynievych, expressed her gratitude to all participants, noting that in just a few days, "Coffee for Our Heroes" has raised nearly 1.7 million hryvnias.
Additionally, treats and gifts from children were delivered to veterans undergoing rehabilitation.

In Odessa, rehabilitation departments operate in nearly all city hospitals, but inpatient care is only part of the long-term process of reintegrating veterans into civilian life. Subsequent steps include adaptive sports, professional retraining, or starting a business, which will enable individuals with disabilities to meet their own and their families' needs.
