Rainy weather and windy conditions are adding extra tasks for communal services. Workers are actively engaged on the streets of Odesa.

Eight teams from the Communal Enterprise «City Roads» are stationed throughout the city. They ensure the free drainage of rainwater. Staff members are clearing stormwater drain grates of fallen leaves and debris washed in by rainwater.

Today, 46 units of special equipment and 328 workers are involved in the operations.

The cleaning of the stormwater drainage systems is regularly carried out both manually and with heavy machinery from «City Roads»: excavators, graders, and other equipment for flushing pipes.

Workers from the «Housing and Communal Services» also clear the stormwater drain grates located near buildings, sweep and remove fallen leaves and trash, maintaining order in their assigned areas.

About 180 employees from the «City Green Trust» work daily to keep the city's green spaces in order. Due to the bad weather, three trees have already fallen, and many small branches have been broken off.

Green keepers are engaged in cutting and removing fallen trees and branches, as well as sweeping and collecting fallen leaves from park and square areas.
