The municipal enterprise «Service Center» manages various urban amenities located throughout Odessa.

Among these are 45 monumental art objects that are not part of the cultural heritage and 4 installations at the city entrances.

Additionally, the enterprise takes care of 27 fountains and 16 drinking fountains.

Every day, municipal workers start their morning by inspecting the assigned areas and objects to identify acts of vandalism and quickly address the consequences.

Over the past nine months, there have been approximately thirty incidents of vandalism affecting the facilities maintained by the «Service Center» specialists. The most common incidents include graffiti and various inscriptions on objects, damage to paving, equipment, and property of the enterprise, as well as intentional or accidental (during swimming) damage to fountain elements.

Specialists from the «Service Center» promptly rectify the consequences of vandalism, restore and repair damaged elements, and cover up inscriptions.

The Odessa City Council urges residents and visitors to treat municipal property with care. If you witness any acts of vandalism, please report it by calling: 102 (police).

Deliberate destruction and damage to municipal property entail criminal liability.
