At the genocide museum «Territory of Memory» in Odesa, a seminar was held for teachers of social sciences in connection with the Day of Remembrance for the Victims of Holodomor.

The event focused on the historical lessons of genocides in the 20th century in Ukraine, their relevance in contemporary times, and their connection to the current Russian-Ukrainian war.

Educators were also introduced to the museum's educational projects and given recommendations on teaching the tragic aspects of Holodomor to various student categories, taking into account age characteristics and the current realities of martial law in Ukraine.

Teachers discovered unknown pages of regional history regarding Holodomor in Odesa by listening to an engaging fact-filled lecture. Specific examples illustrated all signs of the genocide against the Ukrainian peasantry in 1932-1933 and the Ukrainian national elite in 1930-1933.

Additionally, educators familiarized themselves with the exhibition at the «Territory of Memory» museum dedicated to the topic of genocides.
