The International Trauma Congress is taking place in Kyiv from October 17 to 18, 2024, with participation from Odessa's trauma specialists.

This event serves as a significant platform for knowledge exchange and skill enhancement among those treating trauma patients.

Keynote speakers from Ukraine, Germany, the USA, the UK, Estonia, and Lithuania will present their insights on the latest developments in trauma surgery and military injuries.

Workshops and hands-on sessions are scheduled, along with showcases of cutting-edge technologies and equipment from both Ukrainian and international companies.

"Trauma surgery is a crucial field in modern medicine, and the current circumstances highlight the need for its advancement. Odessa's trauma professionals are committed to continuous learning to incorporate the latest global technologies into their practice", stated Sergey Varzary, chief trauma specialist at the Odessa City Health Department.
