With the support of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, the KNP “Odesa Regional Clinical Hospital” has received significant humanitarian aid from American philanthropist and former senator John Kachelman through the charity organization «International Horizons Development and Aid Fund», led by Alireza Pahlavanzadeh.
As part of this initiative, the medical institution has been provided with medical supplies and rehabilitation equipment, which will assist many patients. This aid will enhance the conditions for patients and increase the effectiveness of rehabilitation processes in the hospital.
According to the doctors, this humanitarian assistance will greatly ease the lives of hospital patients, especially those undergoing rehabilitation or with limited mobility.
In total, the institution received from benefactors:
- wheelchairs to help people with disabilities move;
- standard and forearm crutches for patient support;
- walkers for safe movement of recovering patients;
- medical clothing for doctors and nurses to ensure sterility;
- adult diapers, particularly vital for patients with limited mobility;
- gloves used to maintain hygiene during medical services.
These supplies are crucial for patient treatment and rehabilitation, providing comfort for medical staff and ensuring a high standard of medical services.
Furthermore, the humanitarian aid from the “International Horizons Development and Aid Fund” will not only improve treatment conditions but also allow the hospital to enhance its material and technical base. Cooperation between medical institutions and charitable organizations is essential in the face of modern challenges, particularly the shortage of resources.
We express our heartfelt gratitude to the benefactors for their assistance. We look forward to further collaboration to support the medical institutions in Odesa region.
