In Odesa, specialists from the municipal enterprise «Service Center» carried out repairs on several city fountains.

During routine maintenance of the fountains at the Theater and Railway Station squares, planned work was carried out to clean nozzles, external filters, flush the sand filter, and check the operation of the dosing pump and reagent levels.

Additionally, the employees of «Service Center» regularly carry out cleaning of fountain basins, removal of random debris from the water, cleaning of external filters, and maintaining the water at the required level.

The specialists also updated the fountain «Corner of Old Odesa» located on Hohol Street. Key tasks included repairing the fountain basin, repainting it, fixing decorative element chips, updating the paint layer of the composition, and performing technical maintenance of the equipment.

The Odesa city hall reminds everyone about the necessity of treating community property with care. It is strictly forbidden to swim in the city fountains, bathe animals in them, or throw any items/trash into the fountain basins. Due to acts of vandalism, fountains often cease to operate until necessary repairs are completed. Furthermore, it is important to follow safety rules and avoid contact with the water in the fountain basins, as the water is treated with special reagents to prevent blooming.
