Spring is approaching, and municipal services in Odesa have begun preparations for the new season. Specialists from the «Service Center» are working on the fountains to ensure they are ready for the 2025 season. As usual, the first fountain to be activated will be the one at the Theatre Square on April 1.

Currently, they are preparing the fountains located at Theatre Square, in the Victory Dendropark (the «Mermaid» fountain), in the Cosmonauts Park, at the Cathedral Square, and the largest fountain in Odesa located at the corner of Ak. Zabolotny Street and Krymsky Boulevard.

The restoration process is happening in stages, and typically by the end of April, all fountains in Odesa will delight residents and visitors with their beauty. However, unfortunately, due to current conditions, not all fountains can be switched on.

To maintain the fountain equipment during the winter, functional elements such as nozzles, motors, and pumping equipment were dismantled and stored in designated areas within the facility.

Additionally, the staff performs daily maintenance and cleaning of the facilities and areas under their jurisdiction.

Currently, ongoing repairs are being made in the water dispensing area, including cleaning fallen leaves from the roof and clearing the drainage of the well complex located on I. Rabin Street.

Experts are also carrying out repairs on the tiled surfaces and faucets in the water dispensing area of the well complex located in the Starobazarniy Square.

The employees of the «Service Center» maintain the wells, monuments of monumental art that are not architectural monuments, ponds in the Victory Park, and the municipal fountains and adjacent territories throughout the year.
