A tragic incident occurred in Odessa, where two teenagers were electrocuted. One of them has died, while the other has sustained serious injuries. Rescue services also arrived at the scene to assist the affected individual.
According to police, the incident took place on the evening of March 9, near the railway station on Balska Road. A passerby reported the event to them. Preliminary investigations revealed that the boys climbed onto a stationary train, where they were struck by electricity. One of them, a 16-year-old, suffered fatal injuries, while the 13-year-old was rescued from the roof and handed over to medical personnel.
"Rescuers used a ladder and rope to safely bring down the injured boy, who was then transported to the hospital in critical condition. The circumstances of the incident are still being investigated," said the State Emergency Service.
