The Freight Forwarders Updates 2025 forum took place in Odessa: LOGISTICS OF THE FUTURE: FROM CHALLENGES TO INNOVATIONS. ADAPTATION. DIGITALIZATION. SECURITY.

Serhiy Kropyva, the Deputy Head of the Regional Military Administration, emphasized the importance of the regional administration's initiatives and its collaboration with the business community, including:

• the recovery strategy for the Odessa region until 2027, which includes developing the region as a modern transport hub;

• enhancing the protection of ports and the safety of their workers;

• international cooperation in attracting investments in the transport infrastructure of the region.

Participants were informed about possible solutions to issues that hinder the region from fully realizing its potential, such as:

• optimization of customs procedures (reducing bureaucracy, digitalization, preventing risks of transport congestion);

• lack of effective monitoring mechanisms for customs and ports (introduction of a KPI system);

• the need for simplifying customs control procedures;

• ensuring security and uninterrupted operation of strategically important companies;

• reserving workers for marine enterprises.

The Regional Military Administration is always ready for constructive dialogue and cooperation with the business community to achieve the best results in improving and rebuilding our region.
