Teams from "Ukrzaliznytsia", along with partners and leading experts, are continuously working to restore online services.
This was reported by the press service of UZ.
"A backup infrastructure has been deployed in a secure environment, with all components prepared for the restart of critical systems from backups. A careful diagnosis of backups and identification of potentially harmful elements is ongoing. Complex connections between various systems are being restored", the statement reads.
UZ noted that ticket offices at all stations are operating in enhanced mode with extended hours. For instance, in Kyiv, 18 ticket offices were opened on March 24 instead of the usual 8. All trains continue to run on schedule.
Reminder:
On Sunday, March 23, the online systems of "Ukrzaliznytsia" were subjected to a large-scale targeted cyber attack: the recovery of all systems took the entire previous day and is still ongoing.
The key ticket sales system of "Ukrzaliznytsia", which all ticket offices rely on, withstood the attack and remained operational.
