Specialists from the municipal enterprise «Service Center» have launched another beloved fountain for the locals. It is located in the Theater Square, near the Odessa Opera House, and is considered one of the most beautiful in the city.
This spring, 15 out of 27 fountains managed by the enterprise are set to be activated.
Currently, the fountains in the City Garden and on the Stock and Theater Squares are already making a splash.
The municipal workers intend to unfreeze the other fountains by May 5th.
The fountains operate from 9 AM to 9 PM.
As fountains are energy-consuming installations, some of Odessa's fountains remain inactive due to the martial law. Additionally, since the beginning of the war, 4 fountains located in the UNESCO zone have been completely frozen: the Memorial Fountain for the victims of German-Romanian fascists, the «Petya and Gavrik» fountain, the «Youth» fountain («Children and the Froglet»), and the well-fountain «Source».
