In most regions of Ukraine, excluding Crimea, Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, and Transcarpathia, an emergency fire danger level has been declared from April 29 to May 1.

This was reported by the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center.

From April 29 to May 1, Ukraine will experience a heightened risk of forest and field fires. The most critical situation is expected in the central, southern, eastern, and parts of the northern regions.

The emergency (fifth) level of fire danger entails a complete ban on open flames in forests, fields, and near populated areas. Rescuers urge citizens to adhere to fire safety rules, refrain from burning dry grass, and not leave unextinguished fires in nature.
