Odesa has welcomed additional emergency vehicles thanks to the USAID initiative.
«This is an unexpected yet delightful support from the USAID Energy Security Project. Although the program has officially concluded, Odesa has received three more emergency vehicles for its municipal services. We thank our partners for fulfilling their commitments even after the project's end,» stated Odesa's mayor, Hennadiy Trukhanov, expressing gratitude to the American people.
The specialized vehicles are equipped with everything necessary for emergency teams: from tools for quick repairs to equipment that facilitates the work of utility workers.
In 2023, the municipal enterprise «Heating of the City of Odesa» had already received three emergency vehicles from USAID as part of the Energy Security Project. The mayor met with utility workers who showcased both the new and the previously provided vehicles. These specialized vehicles have proven effective in challenging situations, ensuring prompt response and quality repair work.
