In honor of World Blood Donor Day, "Ukrposhta" has introduced a new stamp titled "Chance for Life", dedicated to those who donate blood, medical personnel, and volunteers.

"With our project DonorUA, we want to emphasize: you are the ones who give life", – stated the press service.

At "Ukrposhta", it was noted that in the first week of the full-scale invasion, 25 thousand new donors joined the DonorUA platform, and since 2022, the database has grown fivefold to 200 thousand people.

"In the third year of the great war, when every drop matters, the need for donors remains high. Blood saves the lives of wounded soldiers, civilians, mothers in childbirth, and cancer patients. Sometimes it is the only hope", – added the company.

The new stamp "Chance for Life" symbolizes "a drop that becomes a sea, and kindness that turns into a chance".

"This is our gratitude and an important reminder: your drop of blood is someone’s future. If you are healthy and willing – join us! Becoming a donor is easy, and it gives a chance for life", – said the CEO of "Ukrposhta" Igor Smilyansky.

The stamp features a couple holding a heart and filling it with blood. The artwork is by Ukrainian artist Liza Markina.

The shortage of donor blood existed in Ukraine even before the full-scale war, but today this issue has become more pressing than ever. Despite advancements in medicine, proper blood substitutes do not yet exist. Only we can share it with those in need", – emphasized DonorUA co-founder Irina Slavinska.

The print run of the new stamp is 150 thousand copies, with "First Day" envelopes totaling 20 thousand units, and presentation folders at 500 units.

"Chance for Life" is available for purchase at "Ukrposhta" branches and on the company’s website.
