On July 9, 2025, in Odesa, patrol officers Mykola Morozov and Serhii Onufran received an urgent call regarding an injured dog lying on Lvivska street.

Upon arrival, they discovered that the animal had sustained severe injuries, likely from gunfire.

Thanks to the efforts of volunteers and the director of Odesa Zoo, the dog was carefully transported to a veterinary clinic for immediate care.

Currently, the dog is under medical supervision, and its condition is stable.

Investigators have initiated a criminal case under Article 299 of the Criminal Code regarding animal cruelty.
