From November 23, 2024, vehicle traffic is closed on Vytaliya Blazhka Lane (formerly Marinesku) in Odessa for the construction of a drainage system. The aim of the work is to stabilize landslide processes by setting up drains to intercept groundwater, particularly those formed during heavy rainfall, preventing further flooding and subsidence of the slope.
Due to the continuation of the drainage system construction, traffic restrictions on Vytaliya Blazhka Lane (formerly Marinesku) have been extended until August 2, 2025.
This order has been signed by the city mayor.
Considering the ongoing work, temporary changes are being made to the routes of city public transport:
- bus routes No. 168, 240, 250
on the way to the Peresyp bridges – from Pastera St. to Olhiivska St. (left turn), Staropotofrankivska St., Olhiivsky Lane, Balkivska St., Chornomorsky Cossacks St. and then according to the routes;
- bus routes No. 105, 121, 145, 146, 242
on the way to the Peresyp bridges - from Preobrazhenska St. to Futurist Lane (Mayakovsky Lane), Military Lane, Primorska St., Chornomorsky Cossacks St. and then according to the routes;
- tram route No. 7
from Chornomorsky Cossacks St. to 28th Brigade St. (Paustovskogo St.) and back.
The route for tram No. 3 “16th st. of Lustdorf Road – Pastera St.” is organized with a stop at Starosinna Square.
