The building located at Serednya Street, 24 in Odesa, has been fully restored and is ready for use after the missile strike on December 29, 2023.

The attack resulted in the destruction of key structural elements from the first to the sixth floors, including three columns and two shear walls.

Following urgent reinforcement of the structures and initial emergency response work by the company 'Stikon', extensive restoration efforts began.

Continuous geodetic monitoring helped prevent further damages and shifts. During the restoration process, a new reinforced concrete frame, floors, and walls were installed; external and internal walls were restored; all engineering networks, electrical panels, fire safety systems were replaced, new elevators were installed, and the area was improved.

Currently, all major construction works have been completed. The total funding from the city budget amounted to nearly 37 million UAH - this money was directed towards emergency measures, restoration of structures, and assistance to affected residents for window and door replacements.

“Today, we proudly announce that we have the second building in the city fully restored after enemy attacks. Residents had almost lost hope of returning to their apartments - and now we see tears of joy in their eyes. This building was nearly destroyed, but thanks to the joint efforts of the team — builders, municipal services, deputies, the Academy of Construction — we halted the destruction and restored the home. This is a significant achievement, and I am sincerely grateful to everyone who contributed,” said Odesa Mayor Hennadiy Trukhanov.

Residents whose apartments suffered the most damage are advised to apply to the state program 'eRestoration', where compensation for repairs of up to 350,000 UAH can be obtained. The city will also assist in the processing of necessary documents.

Odesa continues its systematic work on restoring the damaged residential infrastructure and supporting its residents.
