The community services in Odesa are actively involved in maintaining monuments that are not considered cultural heritage.

Experts from the Utility Company "Service Center" regularly clean, repair, and restore the appearance of monuments and their surrounding areas.

This week, the team from the "Service Center" implemented a series of activities to refurbish the Memorial to Law Enforcement Defenders located on Ukrainian Heroes Avenue.

As part of the ongoing repairs, the utility workers secured the memorial slabs and treated their joints.

Additionally, inscriptions commemorating those who lost their lives in defense of citizens and in the fight against crime were renewed. The specialists also repaired chips and efflorescence on the memorial elements and restored the area around the monument.

In total, the company manages 45 monuments that are not classified as cultural heritage sites.
