Saturday's play in round 27 of the UPL kicked off in Odesa, where Chornomorets faced Shakhtar. The match ended with a resounding victory for the visitors – 3-0.
In the first half, the home team managed to withstand the attacking pressure from Marinko Puskić's squad, but in the second half, Shakhtar pressed hard against their opponent. Everton scored twice, while Artem Bondarenko recorded one goal and one assist.
This win allowed Shakhtar to break a two-match winless streak in the UPL. The "Miners" accumulated 57 points and remain in third place in the standings. Chornomorets, on the other hand, remains at the bottom of the table in 18th place, trailing by 5 points from the relegation playoff zone.
