Odesa Mayor Gennadiy Trukhanov visited the site at Prince Volodymyr the Great Street, 134, where restoration efforts are ongoing following the tragic events of 2024.
Last year, emergency and stabilization works were carried out to preserve the integrity of the apartments in the right entrance, and repairs were made to the common areas. The heating system has been fully modernized, allowing some residents to return to their homes. Those who lost their apartments received housing certificates and utilized them under the e-Restoration program.

According to engineering surveys, a reconstruction project has been developed. The protruding sections of the left entrance have been dismantled, and the outer wall will be repaired in accordance with current building standards. New monolithic buttresses will be installed, and the foundation will be reinforced to ensure the structure's reliability even under challenging conditions.

“We plan to combine intact rooms from the destroyed apartments in the left section and use them as temporary housing. We aim to complete the repairs with the support of charitable foundations,” stated Mayor Gennadiy Trukhanov.

As reported by the mayor's advisor on NGO coordination, Veronika Etnarovich, external and internal doors have already been purchased. Charitable organizations have also provided builders with foam blocks for interior renovation work.
