There are 17 drinking fountains in Odesa, providing access to artesian water sourced from depths of 80 to 120 meters. All of them are managed by the municipal enterprise «Service Center», ensuring free water access for residents.

Daily, the staff of the «Service Center» begins their shifts by preparing the fountains for water distribution. They also maintain the cleanliness of the surrounding areas and water distribution zones.

Additionally, they carry out the following tasks:

• disinfection of water dispensing taps;
• sanitary cleaning of water dispensing areas and the sanitary zone of the artesian well;
• cleaning of the adjacent territory;
• systematic clearing of roofs of drinking fountain buildings from fallen leaves and debris.

According to the agreement between the «Service Center» and the State Institution «Odesa Regional Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine», the quality of artesian water in the drinking fountains is tested once a month.
