Today, Ukraine remembers the victims of the Babyn Yar tragedy. This site has become a symbol of unimaginable sorrow and brutality, where Nazis executed tens of thousands of people — Jews, Ukrainians, and Roma.

The Babyn Yar tragedy is not just a chapter in history, but a reminder of the terrible cost of hatred and intolerance. As we remember the fallen, we affirm "never again" and reinforce our collective promise: such a thing must never happen again.

Odesa, along with the rest of the country, bows its head in memory of the innocently slain.

On the anniversary, a flower-laying ceremony took place at the Prokhorovskyi Square in Odesa at the monument to the Holocaust victims and ghetto prisoners.

May their memory be eternal for all who perished at Babyn Yar.
