On September 30, Odesa Gymnasium No. 125, located in Slobodka, hosted its annual charity fair.
#Coffee_with_Education — a warm and heartfelt event that brought together educators, students, and parents.
This year's fair was particularly special: the school, which suffered from a hostile attack last year, has returned to life and symbolically responded to the aggressors by raising funds for the military.
Every penny went towards supporting combat medics: for tourniquets, bandaging materials, and medicines.
The fair featured a true Ukrainian market with aromatic coffee, homemade treats, children's performances, workshops, and heartfelt hugs.
“This is a very important event. Students, parents, and teachers — everyone is working together for a good cause. All the funds are directed to support our military,” remarked Mayor Hennadiy Trukhanov.
Since 2015, ahead of Teacher's Day, Odesa's educational community has been organizing a marathon of good deeds: schools and kindergartens host performances, workshops, and fairs to raise funds for the needs of the military, the wounded, and internally displaced persons. During this time, over 10 million hryvnias have been collected, which have been directed towards drones, electronic warfare equipment, clothing, stoves, boats, vehicles, and most importantly, for life.
