On October 8, 2025, an extraordinary session of the Odesa City Council took place.

The council members voted in favor of a plan to allocate additional funds for those affected by the recent weather events.

Changes were made to the social services program, increasing funding by 126.28 million UAH for 2025.

This funding will be directed to district administrations for material assistance to individuals impacted by the emergency situation caused by the heavy rainfall on September 30.

Affected individuals should reach out to their local district administrations to apply for assistance.

Amount of assistance:

  • for apartments in multi-story buildings — up to 87,600 UAH;
  • for private houses — up to 189,900 UAH.
