The staff of the Municipal Enterprise «Miskzelentrest» has started the preparations for the city's greenery ahead of the cold season.

This autumn, according to the approved plan, 1064 young trees will be planted in Odesa - large-sized seedlings of deciduous species with a root ball for better survival in the urban environment. Specifically, 330 seedlings (white acacia, sycamore maple, common ash, Japanese sophora, western plane) are planned to be planted on streets where stumps have been removed.

The tree planting works are expected to commence around the beginning of November.

Additionally, the gardeners have already started preparing the greenhouses located in the «Trojanada» section for winter. The enterprise's greenhouses operate year-round. Currently, they are working on sowing annual flower seeds, gathering firewood, and covering the greenhouses with polyethylene film.

Starting in early November, the enterprise will also begin the process of winterizing the irrigation systems. There are approximately 50 irrigation systems under the management of the «Miskzelentrest» located in various districts of the city, including parks and squares.
