The municipal enterprise «Environmental Safety Center» has launched an electronic pet registration system in Odesa. This service is synchronized with the international database Animal-ID, as reported by the Odesa City Council press service.

With this new system, pet owners can create a personal online account where information about their pets and themselves is stored. This allows for updates to the profile, ensuring current information is available and simplifies the search for pets in case they go missing.

The service employs tokens with QR codes, enabling quick identification of a pet's owner. Additionally, the system accounts for external characteristics of pets that are added to their online profiles and automatically displayed on the adoption platform.
