As of October 1, 2025, Odesa is showing a positive trend in tourism metrics. According to Ivan Liptuga, director of the Department of International Cooperation, Culture, and Marketing of the Odesa City Council, the results are impressive.

The tourist tax has reached UAH 9.12 million, which is a 25% increase compared to 2024.
The overall growth in revenue from tourist taxes and other taxes varies from 25% to 40%.

During the high season (July-August), beaches opened by the military administration were operational, including two inclusive ones.
Four and five-star hotels reported an increase in demand. The average price for accommodation rose by approximately 30%. Growth was observed in both the premium and business segments. 90% of tourists are domestic visitors from various regions of Ukraine.
The average expenditure for tourists in the high segment increased by 25%, while in the average segment it grew by 35-40%.

By the end of 2024, Odesa was visited by about 4 million people, including around 350,000 foreigners (mainly citizens of neighboring countries, journalists, humanitarian missions, and business trips).

Despite the challenges posed by the war, Odesa remains the only accessible alternative for beach vacations. The city continues to work on diversifying tourist flows to ensure stable visitation throughout the year, not just in the summer.
